Bramshaw Horticultural Society
Currently all meetings and activities organised by BHS are cancelled until further notice.
We meet at 7.00 for 7.30pm at Bramshaw Village Hall on the second Tuesday of the month.
Annual membership is currently £8.00. Visitors are welcome for a small charge of £2.00.

The society was formed in 1995 to bring together local people with a love of gardening by providing interesting speakers, garden visits, an annual plant sale and two members’ shows, plus annual free entry to R.H.S. garden, Wisley.
Principal Awards
The Laura Giddings Cup – Awarded Annually
Donated by the Giddings Family for the member obtaining the highest combined number of points from both of the Society’s shows – Sections One, Two and Three
The Flower Arranging Cup – Bramshaw Senior Citizens
Awarded to the member gaining the most combined points in Section One of the Spring and Autumn Shows.
The Ken Elcock Memorial Trophy
Awarded to the highest placed member in Section Two (Daffodils) of the Spring Show
The Golden Acres Cup
Awarded to the member gaining the most combined points in Section Three of the Spring Show and Section Two of the Autumn Show (General flowers and pot plants)
The Vegetable Medal – Bramshaw Senior Citizens
Awarded to the highest placed member in Section Three of the Autumn Show (Fruit and Vegetables)
The Preserves Cup
Awarded to the member gaining most points in Section 4 of the Autumn Show.
The Sigma Communications Trophy
Awarded to the member gaining the most points by exhibiting on the Interest Table throughout the year
Trophies will be presented at the Annual Dinner
Points in each Class are awarded as follows –
4pts First in Class
3pts Second in Class
2pts Third in Class
1pt Highly Commended
Awards made to First, Second and Third placed members in Sections 1-3
